Choc Mint Nice-Cream Bowl Recipe for Valentine's Day

Choc Mint Nice-Cream Bowl Recipe for Valentine's Day

February 14, 2020

From the bottom of our hearts, wishing all lovers and dreamers a day full of happiness and unconditional love!

Rather than a day full of consumerism, marketing and excess packaging, have you thought to make today, Valentines Day, a day of simple pleasures?

Making a special meal, gifting an experience, making time to do something together, lighting candles and listening to music, a picnic in the park. So many wonderfully intimate, thoughtful things to do and share today, a day celebrated as a day to declare your love for someone, the special someone in your life.

We thought to share with you one of our fabulously delicious and favourite smoothie bowls made by vegan angel Alex Beckett, photographer, nature queen and foodie fan of Mayella Organics.

This is a recipe to impress, fan the fires of love and nourish your beautiful body to heights of happiness!

Recipe for two 😉

To make your Choc Mint Nice Cream you will need:

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Mayella Organics Nourish Blend
  • 150ml filtered water, almond milk or coconut water
  • 2-3 drops pure peppermint essence or peppermint essential oil (leave out the peppermint if you are pregnant)
  • Blend well and pour/scoop into two bowls

Top with pure dark chocolate sauce or melt your own dark choc on a low heat and pour over the smoothie bowls in a swirling pattern.

Sprinkle over a few tablespoons of your favourite crunch granola, some chopped strawberries and, for a berry delicious buzz, a sprinkle of Mayella Acai Berry Beautiful.

Serve with a kiss xoxo

Proactive Health for Women | Holistic Wellbeing Guide

So often, we override the subtle signals: fatigue, disrupted sleep, hormonal shifts, digestive changes, or simply a feeling that something isn’t quite right.

Proactive health isn’t about doing more.
It’s about listening sooner. When we begin to listen, make conscious choices, and support one another, we create the foundation for true, lasting health.

Pro-ageing is the conscious choice to support the body’s natural evolution through nourishment, not resistance — where health is measured by vitality, not appearance.

In today’s world, the line between self-care and self-correction has become increasingly blurred.
We are navigating a landscape where “wellness” is often intertwined with aesthetic outcomes, and where ageing is subtly positioned as something to delay at all costs.

Pro-ageing invites a different question:

Are our choices supporting true health — or responding to external pressure?
